The Riversharks fell behind 3-0 after the first two innings of play Friday night, but came right back with seven unanswered runs to win 7-3.

After giving up three runs on four hits, a walk, and a hit batter in the first two innings, Camden’s starter Brad Knox only allowed one base runner over the next four innings striking out four.

While Knox settled in on the mound the Sharks’ bats heated up in the third and fourth innings in which Camden scored six runs on eight hits. They added their seventh and final run in the sixth inning when Kyle Haines singled in Raul Padron.

Haines came back rested and ready to go after a night off Thursday. He went 3-4 with two RBI and two runs scored, leading the way for the Camden offense.

Knox (4-3) earned the win with his fifth straight quality start allowing just three runs in six innings of work.

The Riversharks improved their second half record to 4-4. Meanwhile the Barnstormers (5-3) have now lost their last three games after winning their first five of the second half.

The series continues tomorrow night at Clipper Magazine Stadium when LHP Josh Brey takes the mound for the Riversharks against RHP Rick Bauer for the Barnstormers.
