Fish Out Swim The Sharks 7-4
There would be now ninth inning comeback Saturday night in Bridgeport as Jorge Julio earned his 16th save of the season against the Riversharks.
Camden and Bridgeport combined for six errors, three for each team, leading to four total unearned runs in the game.

The Bluefish got ahead early courtesy of an unearned run. Lead off hitter Adam Greenberg walked and stole second but the throw down sailed into the baseline and into centerfield allowing Greenberg to reach third. He would later score on an RBI ground out with one down in the inning.

Another unearned run tied the game in the third when Kyle Haines scored from second as shortstop Tim Johnson misplayed a ground ball from Richie Robnett.

Bridgeport took the lead right back with two runs in the bottom of the third inning. Tome Pennino and Johnson both scored on sacrifice flies from Hiram Bocachica and Josh Phelps.

After trading runs in the fifth inning, the Riversharks tied the game once again in the sixth. Raul Padron doubled in Richie Robnett. Later, Teuris Olivares grounded a ball to third baseman Joe Jiannetti. Jiannetti threw the ball away and Padron came around to score.

The tie game was short lived thanks to a two RBI single from Johnson in the bottom of the sixth. Jiannetti and Colin Roberson scored the go ahead runs after starting the with a single and double respectively.

Jorge Julio came in for the second night in a row but would not blow another save opportunity. Bridgeport added another insurance run in the eighth and Julio threw a scoreless ninth as the Bluefish took the game 7-4.

Luis Arroyo earned his first win of the season throwing 6.1 innings allowing four runs, only two of which were earned. Keiran Mattison in his first appearance as a Rivershark took the loss. He threw 1.1 innings, giving up three runs on five hits and a walk.

Camden leads the series 2-1 heading into game four on Sunday. The finale will begin at 2:05 PM tomorrow afternoon in Bridgeport. Go to www.riversharks.com and click on the listen live radio icon to hear all the action.
